StellarWindow takes the concept of a standard planetarium for your PC a step further. The tiny white stick which comes along with the software looks like any standard USB storage device, but is a powerful six-axis geomagnetic and acceleration sensor. The sensor unit lets you point at any direction of the sky and the beautifully rendered realistic view of the sky on your screen will follow. The image moves in real-time, as you point the sensor in different directions. You may turn around or even lift your laptop or tablet PC to the sky and really look through a window into space. Star positions from catalogues are blended together with real photos to give a beautiful, realistic impression of the night sky. StellarWindow also lets you zoom onto the surface of planets, or discover colorful nebulae and star clusters in high resolution photos.
